Turkesterone is a naturally occuring compound that is extracted from different plants. Leuzea or Maral Root are the main source of the Turkesterone Extract. When concentrated Turkesterone is considered an Ecdysteroid. Ecdysteroid's are also a naturally occurring compound that is found in all forms of life including plants.
Ecdysteroid's are hormonal steroids that are found naturally in plants. While Turkesterone is in a class of compounds that are called steroids, Turkesterone is not a steroid in the way most people think of them. Most steroids act on the Androgen Receptors in the body.
